For medical help outside Cleveland Central Medical Centre’s business hours, please ring the Home Doctor Service on 137 425. A doctor will visit you in your home.
To provide the best quality care for everyone, the practitioners who are supported by Cleveland Central Medical Centre are mixed billing. Please ask whether your preferred doctor privately bills or bulk bills when making an appointment.
If you are a new adult patient your doctor will charge you a consultation fee on your first visit. From your second consultation onwards, if your doctor offers bulk-billing, this option will be available to you.
Your doctor will charge a standard consultation of $83 with a $39.75 rebate from Medicare. The friendly reception team can assist you with your Medicare refund, with either an instant refund onto your EFTPOS card, or an overnight refund from Medicare.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard or EFTPOS. Saturday consultations are all privately billed.
